Yeah theres a little bit in 'old town' Riga thats survived or was reconstructed after the bombings and wars that theyve been through. They have even tried to copy Sydney harbour. Andy reckons that Riga has been the highlight of the trip so far but I would rate St.Petersberg and Helsinki as better places hahahaha.

Wow, such a beautiful city, if I do not say so myself. I loved studying abroad in Latvia over the summer and fall. That country was so dear to me when I came back to Southern California and I can't wait to go back.
